Dr. Geraldine Chaney is a pediatrician in the Jackson metropolitan area where she has practiced for over 30 years. She is owner of Capital City Children and Adolescent, PLLC and is a board certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has served as Chief of Pediatrics for Central Mississippi Medical Center and St. Dominic Hospital. Other duties include serving as assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics for the University of Mississippi Medical Center, past member of the Mississippi State Board of Health and a four year appointment to the National Advisory Council of the National Health Service Corporation. Her awards include Physician of the Year, Distinguished Service to the Field of Medicine Award, and Director’s Award from the National Health Service Corps and Best Doctors of America Award for years 2002 through 2010.
