A website everyone can use.
We want every Mississippian to be able to use this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, or other assistive tools.
Our standard
We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we do
Every page has a “Skip to content” link. Every feature works with a keyboard. Images have text descriptions. Form fields have labels. Text has strong contrast against its background. Pages work on phones, tablets, and computers, and when you zoom in.
Where we fall short
Some older PDF documents and some partner and program sites linked from this site may not meet this standard. If you need any document in another format, ask us and we will provide it.
